Meet Ed
Ed Jackson is dedicated to West Tennessee. He’s spent his life here raising a family and building multiple, successful small businesses. His career represents a commitment to doing what’s right for our community.
A Jackson native, Ed graduated from Jackson High School and Memphis State University. He served seven years in the 30th Armored Division of the Army National Guard where he learned the values of service and discipline. Ed spent 30 years in sales with the Tennant Company. He and his wife, Marilyn, owned and operated three successful small businesses in Jackson: Southern Comfort Coaches, Snappy Tomato Pizza, and Marilyn Jackson’s Gifts.

Ed has received a variety of awards for his community service. The Jackson Chamber of Commerce previously honored Ed for owning and operating the “Business of the Year”. He was recently honored as “Man of the Year” by the Jackson Exchange Club. The Tennessee Hospital Association recognized Ed as its “Tennessee Hospital Hero” in 2024 for his commitment to better health care for Tennesseans. Ed is also an Eagle Scout.
